Fire near track delays trains between Eastbourne and Lewes

Southern, which runs the services, said trains are having to run at reduced speed.

The company added that trains running towards Lewes will be unaffected but trains heading towards Polegate and Eastbourne will pick up some delays as they run at reduced speeds.

It said disruption is expected to last until around 8pm.
