GALLERY: Photographs capture raw emotion during minute’s silence at Shoreham Tollbridge
Emotions ran high as Shoreham residents observed a minute’s silence in memory of the people who died after the Shoreham Airshow crash.
Photographer Eddie Mitchell captured the above images of mourners of all ages paying their respects to the 11 victims.
Thousands took to the banks of the River Adur and the wooden bridge itself for the minute’s silence at 1.20pm.
Many silently remembered the diceased elsewhere in towns and villages across Sussex.
