Motorcyclist suffers serious injuries in Boxing Day collision

A MOTORCYCLIST suffered serious injuries following a collision in Horsham on Boxing Day (Monday December 26).

Emergency services were called to the scene in Kings Road at 3.27pm.

The 22-year-old male rider came off the motorbike after a collision involving a number of parked cars.

His Triumph Daytona was left shattered and split in half on the road which was closed for more than three hours while police attended.

The Crawley man was taken to East Surrey Hospital in Redhill with serious but no life threatening injuries.

PC De Silvo, of the Chichester Road Policing Unit, said they are appealing for witnesses of the incident involving the motorbike.

The incident is not being treated as alcohol related.
