Meanwhile, there is an obstruction on the road on the A27 Shoreham Bypass at the A283 Steyning Road (Steyning turn off).

According to reports, traffic is coping well and police are on their way to investigate.

In East Sussex, a traffic problem is causing delays in Newlands Road, Rottingdean, near to A259 Marine Drive.

Traffic reports say the sensors are not showing any impacts – and police are on their way to investigate.

In Hastings, Junction Road is closed due to a burst water main, between the A21 Sedlescombe Road North to B2093 The Ridge.

In other news today, there is an amended train service between Horsham and Littlehampton/Barham.

Engineering work is taking place between Horsham and Arundel, closing all lines.

As a result of this, trains that run between London Victoria and Portsmouth Harbour/Southampton Central will start/terminate at Littlehampton.

Replacement buses will be in operation between Horsham and Littlehampton/Barnham to allow passengers to connect with alternative rail services.
