Emma Ambler, of Gilligan Close, Horsham, died after falling from the top floor of Swan Walk car park on October 17 last year.

At an inquest, held at Parkside in Horsham, senior coroner for West Sussex Penelope Schofield said the 41-year-old ‘deliberately’ went to the car park.

The inquest heard Mrs Ambler had suffered from depression in the past and had attended sessions with a local mental health team.

She stopped attending meetings after she said she was no longer having suicidal thoughts, the inquest heard.

In the week before her death Mrs Ambler went on holiday to Texas with her husband.

They returned on October 15 and the pair were suffering from jet lag the following day.

On the morning of October 17 Mrs Ambler kissed her husband goodbye before leaving for work.

She was found by members of the public in a road near the car park at around 7am. They administered CPR before paramedics arrived but she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Mrs Schofield said she was satisfied beyond reasonable doubt that Mrs Ambler took her own life.
