Tree falls on lorry in Storrington

Fire crews confirmed they were called just before 3pm on Monday November 9 to an incident involving a tree which had fallen on a lorry in Hampers Lane, Storrington.

A spokesman added: “The Technical Rescue Unit and one fire engine from Storrington attended the scene. Crews used a chainsaw, a ladder and a small gear to remove the tree from the lorry.”

Rock Road was partially blocked after the crash, according to the AA. The incident has now cleared.
