UPDATE: Accident closes Wisborough Green road

An accident closed the main road through Wisborough Green this afternoon (Friday July 15).

The A272 Petworth Road in Wisborough Green was shut and there was queuing traffic in both directions between Green Bridge and the School Road junction.

Reports are that the incident involved a lorry and three cars.

The incident has now been cleared and the road re-opened.
