A lane of the M23 was shut on the exit slip road with queuing traffic southbound at junction 9, M23 (Gatwick Airport). Congestion was up to the M25 junction 7, causing problems for traffic heading up to the roundabout for the airport. The vehicle has been cleared and the lane re-opened.
