UPDATE: Crashes cause delays on A23

Two crashes in the space of an hour caused the A23 to be partly blocked this morning (Friday November 6).

Southbound traffic was delayed after the first crash, near the junction with the A272 at Bolney, at about 10.40am.

Two ambulances and a paramedic car were sent to the two-vehicle collision, but no one required hospital treatment.

While paramedics were still at the scene, a second crash happened on the A23 at about 11.30am.

No one was seriously hurt, though the collisions caused delays on the road.
