Trialist midfielder Aryan Tajbakhsh has been reward for his pre-season efforts with a one-year deal at Crawley Town.
The 25-year-old has been training with the club and played the whole of the second half on Saturday in Reds’ 9-2 victory over Ryman League side East Grinstead.
He joins the club on a one-year contract with a year’s option to extend.
His background is primarily in non-league football, with Braintree Town, Aylesbury, Enfield and Cray Wanderers among his recent clubs.
Head coach Dermot Drummy said: “Aryan has been with us for pre-season and we think he is someone capable of stepping up and competing for a place in the squad at League Two level.
“He’s very good technically and has worked hard during pre-season to impress. This is a big opportunity for him to kick on in his career. He is desperate to do well and now has that chance.”
