Messages of support and well wishes have poured in for John Gregory with the news of his impending heart operation.
The now former Crawley Town manager has been the talk of Twitter after news broke today that he was to undergo open-heart surgery in January.
Gregory has stepped down from his role and been replaced by Dean Saunders as Reds boss, but according to the new interim manager, Gregory will return to his role as soon as he returns to full health.
There was plenty of support for the former Aston Villa boss on Twitter.
