Two people have been arrested after police raided a home in Crawley.

Police said a quantity of drugs were seized after officers raided a property at an address in Broadfield, yesterday (Thursday February 11).

A 64-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a class A drug (cocaine), possession of a controlled drug (cannabis) and possession of a weapon for the discharge of noxious liquid, gas or electrical incapacitation device.

A 51-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a class A drug, possession of a controlled drug (cannabis) and possession of a captor spray.

Both have been bailed until April 8 while investigations continue, police added.
