Two car collision near Gatwick Airport

Emergency services were called to a two car collision last night (July 13) near Gatwick Airport.

Firefighters from Crawley attended the incident at the Welcome Roundabout in Airport Way at around 11.15pm.

No-one was trapped in the collision and a man was assisted from a car before crews arrived.

A spokesperson for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said the man was uninjured in the collision and the scene was made safe by firefighters.
