Two rescued from Lancing flat fire

TWO men were treated for smoke inhalation after a Lancing flat was targeted by arsonists today (Thursday, April 1).

Police were called to the flat in Broadway Court, Brighton Road, Lancing, at 2.20am.

It appeared an accelerant had been pushed through the letter box and set alight.

The men, aged 51 and 63 years old, were treated at Worthing Hospital for the effects of smoke inhalation.

The flat was not seriously damaged.
