UPDATE: Two taken to hospital after A24 crash

Two drivers were taken to hospital after a crash on the A24 this morning (Monday November 16).

Emergency services were called to the collision on the A24 Horsham Road near Capel, just north of the B2126 Cole’s Lane, at around 7am.

Police said the crash involved an Audi and a Mini. A crew of firefighters was sent from Horsham to assist Surrey Fire and Rescue Service.

Both drivers were injured and were taken to Epsom and St Helier Hospital. Their injuries are not thought to be life threatening or life changing.

The road was partially blocked whilst recovery work took place. It has now been re-opened.
