Now Penny’s owners are celebrating after gerring her back home - and the fact that they don’t need to worry about paying for Penny’s treatment.

For Penny’s owners, this standard ‘extra’ that Heath Vets provides to all of its newly registered animals, took away the financial worry of specialist treatment.

Practice manager Sarah Solomonsaid: “Penny is a very lucky little dog. Her injuries were so severe due to her tiny size but her owner’s quick actions in bringing her to surgery probably saved her life.

“We offer all newly registered pets a standard free four weeks of insurance from date of registration, with Petplan, which you can see from Penny’s story, can be a huge financial help.”
