Paramedics were called to two separate incidents in Horsham town centre earlier toady (March 19).

A paramedic car and an ambulance were called to the Carfax at 11.45am after reports of a man in his 70s was suffering from a ‘severe headache’.

A spokesperson for South East Coast Ambulance Service said: “The first report we had was at 11.45am where a man approximately in his 70s was complaining of a severe headache.

“The man has since left the scene and has been taken to East Surrey hospital for further checks.”

Whilst at the scene another call was received about a separate incident in the Carfax after reports a woman, approximately in her 70s, had fallen, the spokesperson added.

The woman was taken to Phase Eight clothing store and was checked over by paramedics.

A paramedic car attended the incident.
