VIDEO: Three car collision closes A264 at Faygate
DRIVERS travelling between Crawley and Horsham this afternoon suffered long delays after a three vehicle collision on the A264.
The dual carriageway was closed in both directions at Faygate and there was queuing traffic between the Clovers Way junction and the Park Road junction, because of an accident involving two cars and a lorry.
The West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service, Sussex Police and the Surrey Air Ambulance attended the scene just after 2.30pm.
A 50-year-old woman was released by firefighters and taken to hospital with severe wrist injuries.
Both lanes have now been re-opened.
