Councillor Chris Mullins said: “The Madagascan Zone and its exciting cast of inhabitants is a wonderfully exciting addition to Tilgate Nature Centre.

“The Nature Centre is one of the highlights of the park, with its own Australasian Zone and now the Madagascan Zone. I would recommended the park to anyone looking for a family day out.”

Visitors also took part in quizzes, competitions and watched some special drumming performances of Madagascan music from Tall Paul and friends.
