Revellers will be given a helping hand to avoid an early Christmas hangover when the Water Angel team comes to Crawley.
The campaign, which was launched by West Sussex County Council at the Moka nightclub in October, encourages revellers to drink water as part of their night out, in an attempt to reduce antisocial behaviour and hangovers.
The team will be at the Brewery Shades, in the High Street, from 6-9pm on Friday (December 19).
A pop-up Christmas-themed marquee with a photo booth will be in place to allow people to take photos of themselves on their night out.
Following a recent presentation about Water Angel to Crawley Pubwatch, licensed premises will be encouraging young adults to drink water alongside their alcoholic drinks during the Christmas period.
Posters and other promotional material will be displayed in bars, clubs and pubs across Crawley over the festive period encouraging customers to ‘Ask for free water at the bar’.
