Windows smashed and graffiti sprayed on walls by vandals at Horsham primary school

Vandals smashed windows and sprayed graffiti on walls at a Horsham primary school last night (Friday March 14).

Parents at Trafalgar Community Infants School in Victory Road have contacted the County Times to say that classroom windows, the two front doors, and side windows have been smashed overnight.

Graffiti has also been spray painted on the cabins.

A spokesperson for Horsham police said: “Ten windows have been smashed at Trafalgar School in Victory Road, Horsham.

“Loud noises were heard around midnight by a nearby resident. A graffiti tag was also left on the roof.”

A spokesperson for Sussex Police added: “Police are investigating criminal damage at Trafalgar Infants School in Victory Road, Horsham, which occurred at some time between 6.30pm on Thursday, 13 March and 7.20am on Friday, 14 March.

“Anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in the vicinity of the school is asked to phone Sussex Police on 101 or email [email protected], quoting serial 0176 of 14/3.”
