Crawley Town returned to pre-season training yesterday and boss Mark Yates said it was a day they had been relishing.
Reds reported to their new training base at Ardingly College for the first time after announcing they were leaving their former site at Oakwood FC.
All four new signings Shamir Fenelon, Simon Walton, Joe McNerney and Luke Rooney met their team-mates for the first time amongst a number of triallists.
Yates said: “We have been looking forward to this day. Between us we have put a lot of work into stuff getting towards this day with the squad, with the training facility.
“It’s a really fantastic place we have got. Jimmy (Dack) has put a massive amount of work on the training ground and I want to thank him for that and the club and Ardingly.”
