Young and old celebrate birth of Krishna
Worshippers gathered at the Sri Swarna Kamaddzi Amman temple, in Three Bridges, to celebrate Krishna Jayanthi - the birth of Lord Krishna .
The highlight of the celebrations was a dance performed by sisters Ragavi and Shayana Gobiraj who were dressed as Krishna and Radha. The climax of the celebration was the Uriyadi Utchavam, which was performed by children depicting baby Krishna going with his friends to a neighbour’s house and stealing butter and creamy milk kept in an earthen pot.
