Your lantern could light up Bognor Regis

A workshop about how to make lanterns is being held in Bognor Regis.

The town council has arranged the session for children aged seven to 12.

It will run from 10am until 4pm on November 22 at The Hub centre in Queensway at a cost of 1.50 a child. Lanterns made there will be used as part of the town's Christmas lights switch-on a week later.

Children who take part in the workshop will need to be available from 3.30pm for about an hour on November 29 to take part in a procession through the town centre.

The workshop is also part of Arun Peace Week to celebrate diversity, peacemaking and a future with hope across the district.

Booking for the workshop is essential. Details on 01243 825535.
