As we approach the festive season I would like to ask your readers to do something amazing this Christmas to support the work of the NSPCC.
Santa has teamed up with the NSPCC to send magical, personalised letters straight from the North Pole to local children to help bring their Christmas to life!
The letters are personally tailored to each child, with mention for instance of their best friend or congratulating them on an achievement at school, and all we ask in return is a £5 donation - that £5 could enable the NSPCC’s ChildLine service to answer a child’s call for help.
Without the backing of local people we simply wouldn’t be able to deliver our vital services which are so often a lifeline to many children and young people whose lives have been affected by abuse, so really a huge thank you to everyone who has already helped in some way this year and if you can do this one extra thing it could make all the difference to a scared or lonely child this Christmas.
