LETTER: We are only a small island

I read in the Crawley Observer (October 28) that the council are willing to take in refugees from the Middle East. Where are they going to live?

We have enough people from different parts of the world already, I do sympathise with them but let us look after those that have been born and bred here, and lived here all their lives, perhaps if we had not had an open border policy and not had every Tom, Dick and Harry coming here it would be more acceptable after all we are only a small island, when will it all stop?
