We attended a full council meeting on Wednesday October 21 at the town hall and were able to witness a truly wonderful moment, when we saw all members of the full council raise their hands in unanimous support of a motion to address the existing humanitarian crisis, bearing in mind the needs of local residents.
A letter to the Prime Minister on this matter was considered and approved, too. We should be proud of our council members and we hope that residents will greet this tragic problem with like spirit, after all ‘what are we but animals, if we cannot think the noble thought’.
