Your views on crime and safety

Residents are being asked for their views on crime and community safety.

The Safer Crawley Partnership has created a survey to find out what matters most to residents when it comes to community safety.

The partnership aims to reduce crime and help make residents feel safe. It includes Crawley Borough Council, police, NHS, fire and rescue services and community groups

The survey asks:

If they have been a victim of crime and if so, did they report it?

How information about crime and community safety makes them feel, and access to that information.

Councillor Nigel Boxall, chair of the Safer Crawley Partnership, said: “To be able to meet our goals the partnership needs to understand residents’ priorities for reducing crime and increasing community safety.

“Please take a few moments to fill in the survey, telling the partnership what you think matters most and helping to make a safer place for everyone.”

The online survey can be completed at www.crawley.gov.uk/communitysafety and a paper survey is available from the Town Hall. The closing date for responses is January 2 2014.
