Broccoli coffee is the newest way to get your greens
It's one of the most universally disliked vegetables, but broccoli might just be making a comeback - in your morning cup of coffee.
Scientists have developed a powdered version of the vegetable that they say is packed with vitamins and can be added to everything for hot drinks and smoothies to cakes.
We still aren't eating enough vegetables
The product was developed after a study found that four out of five adults in Australia do not eat enough fruit and vegetables when compared to national dietary guidelines.

It is made by grinding up bunches of broccoli considered too imperfect in appearance to be sold fresh in shops, making use of produce that may otherwise have gone to waste.
An easy way to eat better
Every two tablespoons of the powder is equivalent to one serving of broccoli, according to creators CSIRO (an Australian government science agency) and agriculture group Hort Innovation. Broccoli is a good source of dietary fibre, vitamin B6, vitamin E, and manganese.
A cafe in Melbourne, Australia has reportedly begun experimenting with the powder by stirring it into coffees, but it can also be added to smoothies, soups and baked goods.
It is hoped that the broccoli powder and other products like it could help to make healthy eating easier, as well as reducing unnecessary food waste.
