Barcombe cricketers docked points
Barcombe have been deducted 16 points for using an ineligible fielder and now sit bottom of division one of the East Sussex League. The decision is subject to appeal.
Barcombe were beaten by five wickets in Saturday's match against fellow strugglers Heathfield Park.
Barcombe managed to take 15 points from the game while Hellingly totalled 12 in an eight-wicket defeat by leaders Seaford, but Herstmonceux took 30 in defeating Fletching by 123 runs while Heathfield Park amassed 25.
Seaford maintained their 40-point lead at the head of affairs with three Saturdays left.
