Club records for Athletico and seven-goal Morris

Non-stop runner Neil Morris scored seven goals, also a club record, which included a first-half hat-trick, and the result plus the overall tally kept their Worthing League third division promotion challenge on the boil.

A Northbrook defender turned Kevin Wyatt's goalbound effort into his own net inside the first five minutes and Morris' header set him out on the goal trail four minutes later. Then he set up Luke Green to score and added two more himself before the interval t make it 5-0.

Sub Danny Wayatt's great run sent Joel Murray clear to start Athletico's six-goal spree after a lethargic start to the second half. Morris got two more, then Matt Stamper headed in a Kevin Wyatt corner which gave Wyatt his third "assist" of the match.
