New Sussex CCC chief executive announced

Sussex County Cricket Club have announced that Zac Toumazi will be their new Chief Executive starting in January 2013.

Zac has a track record of developing business and delivering excellent customer service.

He has extensive experience in the financial services sector having fulfilled senior roles with Citigroup and Goldman Sachs before joining the cricket world.

Zac was at Surrey County Cricket Club for six years and as Group Commercial Director played a major role developing the commercial side at the Oval.

Since 2011, Zac has been Group Commercial Director of Hampshire Cricket where he had a pivotal role staging their first test match and negotiating the AGEAS Bowl ground naming rights.

Jim May, Chairman of Sussex County Cricket Club said “Dave Brooks leaves us in great shape this month after four outstanding years as Chief Executive. We had a very strong group of candidates who applied to succeed him.

“We are very pleased to appoint Zac as we believe his commercial experience, cultural fit and passion for cricket give him the credentials to ensure that Sussex Cricket continues to lead the way both on and off the pitch.”
