Sharks looking for quarter-final spot

Sussex Sharks are aiming to seal their place in the quarter-finals of the Friends Life t20 tournament this evening (Tuesday July 3) when they head to the Kia Oval to take on Surrey (6.30pm start).

The Sharks are sitting top of the South Group by a point from rivals Hampshire Royals and a sixth straight win this evening would not only put them in the knockout stages but also strengthen their bid for a home quarter-final tie.

Sussex’s last outing saw them comfortably beat Kent Spitfires at The PROBIZ County Ground by 83 runs on Friday evening.
