Sussex announce CB40 fixture switch

Sussex CCC have announced that they have arranged to switch their Clydesdale Bank 40 fixtures with neighbours Kent this season.

The home match against the Spitfires was due to take place on Monday 27th August at The PROBIZ County Ground, Hove, but the fixture that day will instead be at Canterbury as Kent’s home fixture with a 1.45pm start.

Sussex’s home fixture will now be earlier in the season on Monday 16th July at the Arundel Castle Cricket Ground, also a 1.45pm start.

The match will add to an exciting week of cricket with the Arundel Festival beginning on Wednesday 18th July with the LV=County Championship match against Durham, before the Sharks entertain Northamptonshire Steelbacks on Sunday 22nd July in the CB40 competition.

The switch has been made with the confirmation that there will be a concert taking place at The PROBIZ on the August Bank Holiday Monday. Details of the concert will be announced regionally on Thursday 15th March on HEART FM.

Sussex members are reminded that the extra fixture at Arundel will still be free to watch providing CB40 forms part of their relevant membership.
