Sussex at Derby for floodlit match

Sussex Sharks will look to regain their place at the summit of Group C in the Clydesdale Bank 40 this evening (Wednesday August 8) when they travel to Derby to take on Derbyshire Falcons in a floodlit affair (4.40pm start).

The Sharks are still unbeaten in the competition and lie only a point behind Warwickshire Bears in the table, who they will host at The PROBIZ County Ground, Hove next week in a mouthwatering clash.

Sussex’s last outing in the competition saw them beat Northamptonshire Steelbacks by eight wickets at Arundel Castle, as Chris Liddle took four wickets and Murray Goodwin hit an unbeaten 67.
