Will and his brother Robbie have become just the fourth set of brothers to score centuries in the same first-class innings in New Zealand

The O'Donnell brothers became the second Auckland pair after Cyril and Nessie Snedden, who were the first to pull off this amazing achievement, for Auckland against Hawkes Bay during the 1920-21 campaign.

Will hit 117, scoring his maiden first-class hundred in the process, while Robbie notched up 142 on day three of the Aces' Plunket Shield game at home to Wellington Firebirds.

The duo put on a magnificent second-wicket partnership of 232 before Will was caught off the bowling of Logan van Beek.

The Aces were bowled out for 368 in 123.5 overs in response to the Firebirds' first innings total of 342.

New Zealander Will O'Donnell was signed as Bridges' overseas player in January.
