EVANS AND CURD RAMPANT FOR WICK

IT WAS a tale of two captains at Crabtree Park on Saturday. While Wick's Danny Curd led by example, scoring twice and setting one goal up, Southwick's Tony Timms seeemed to be on a mission to get sent off and the only surprise was it took referee Shaheem Kamaldian until first-half stoppage time to dismiss him.

By the time of Timms dismissal, Wick were already 2-0 up through two Kane Evans goals in the opening 13 minutes. The first on nine minutes from Tom Manton's pass was drilled through Southwick keeper Ben Counsell from a tight angle.
