Five-a-side

THE Green Machine capped their title victory on the final day of the Worthing Sunday Leisure Leagues Premier Division season with a stunning 10-2 demolition of Ronaldinho Wreckheads, thanks to Dale Nally.

Team Elite had Phil Houlton to thank as their 8-2 success saw them finish in the runners-up spot and with it qualification to the Leisure Leagues' National Tournament.

Rehad Madrid lost out 5-2 to a Lloyd Carter-inspired Worthing United and were relegated from the top tier.

Division One champions Cheeky Half FC might have lost 9-3 to Billy Doe's Durrington United but they finished a point clear of Rangers FC, who cruised through 4-1 against FMT United to also gain promotion.

The Homewreckers finished rock-bottom as a 2-0 defeat to DNC was the final nail in the coffin.

There was a winner-takes-all clash at the top of the second division, with Jamie Clark starring for No Prawn Sandwiches as they claimed the title with a narrow 1-0 win over Athletico Goring, although both sides won promotion.
