Football tournament achieves its goal

LITTLE Common Football Club's annual youth Six-a-Side Tournament went with a bang at the weekend.

Over 100 teams predominantly from clubs in Sussex but also with a smattering from Kent and south London contested the various prizes on Saturday and Sunday.

The emphasis of the event, sponsored by the Bexhill Observer, Burgess & Co, Greenwoods, Goddard & Rogers, Louis' Fish Restaurant & Take-Away, McPherson & Partners, Redwell Estates, Serco and St Leonards Motors Toyota, was on fun and enjoyment with all matches being played in the true spirit of the game.
