Albion line up another Premier League friendly and start campaign away at Hull

Brighton are hopeful of welcoming a second Premier League team to The Amex as part of the club’s pre season preparations.

The Seagulls have already confirmed they will face off against Reading on Tuesday, August 7, but the club is also hopeful of organising a friendly on August 11.

The opponents have yet to be confirmed but, if all goes according to plan, then Gus Poyet’s men will be able to test themselves against a second top flight outfit.

Sussex Police are involved in the planning for the match, which would come just days before the Albion play away to Swindon in the first round of the Capital One Cup.

Brighton will start their Championship campaign away to Hull City on August 18 and finish it at home to recently relegated Wolverhampton Wanderers on May 4.

Other notable matches include Millwall at home on Boxing Day and a pair of Saturday afternoon match-ups with arch rivals Crystal Palace. The Seagulls travel to Selhurst Park on December 1 and welcome the Eagles to The Amex on March 16.
