Two points from vital games with struggling Huddersfield and Blackpool was not want Oscar Garcia would have wished for but he remained upbeat after the 1-1 draw with the Tangerines.

He said: “I’m disappointed not to take all three points, but it’s difficult to win a lot of games in a row.

“It is amazing to be fighting for this place at this moment, bearing in mind what has happened this season. Better squads than us are not winning so we will fight to the end.”

That fight begins at the Amex on Friday with the visit of bottom club Yeovil who are 2/7 to finish the season with the wooden spoon.

The Glovers are not mathematically relegated just yet and need to win to stand any chance of avoiding the drop and that might play into the hands of the Seagulls.

We know Leicester are champions and Burnley as runners-up are up, but who will be the third side promoted this term?

To be promoted: Derby 5/2; Wigan 5/2; QPR 11/4; Reading 8/1; Brighton 10/1; Forest 20/1;

To finish in the top six: Reading 5/4; Brighton 7/4; Ipswich 8/1; Forest 9/1.

The Seagulls are 2/5 to move back into the play-off zone on Friday night with Yeovil 8s and the draw 19/5.

This is an excellent opportunity to put pressure on the other sides around them pushing for that final berth in the top six with Reading making the visit to South Yorkshire on Saturday and a trip to Doncaster Rovers. The Royals are 5/4 to pick up all three points with the draw 12/5 and Rovers 23/10.

The battle for sixth will go right down to the wire; three points against Yeovil and anything less than a win for Forest at Bournemouth and the hosts will not be in the promotion mix when Albion travel to the City Ground next weekend.

Yes, promotion is no longer in Albion’s hands, but Doncaster Rovers will be fighting for the lives at the Keepmoat against Reading and six points from their last two games might just be enough for the Seagulls to again make the play-offs.

At the time of writing Louis Van Gaal (4/6) and Carlo Ancelotti (6/1) are the market leaders to take over the vacant position as manager of Manchester United, but Ryan Giggs is the interim manager until the end of the season.

United have four very winnable games between now and the end of the campaign; Norwich (H), Hull (H), Sunderland (H) and Southampton (A). We bet 6/1 they win all four of those games.
