Graham Potter's men have six points from their first eight Premier League matches of the new campaign. There have been some encouraging signs but the problem has been converting the chances they are creating.
Ben White and Adam Lallana have been integrated in the team this season and summer arrival Danny Welbeck also made his first start of the campaign just before the international break in the 0-0 stalemate with Burnley.
Brighton will resume after the break away at Aston Villa on November 21 and then they welcome Liverpool to the Amex on November 28.

1. Maty Ryan 6/10
Was handed a huge shock at Spurs when he was dropped for the first time in the Premier League since his arrival in 2017. The 28-year-old was back in the team to face a limited Burnley attack and despite a few shaky moments, the Aussie international kept a clean sheet. Overall a solid start to the season but he now knows his place is no longer guaranteed.
2. Robert Sanchez 6/10
A huge moment for the young Spaniard when he made his debut at Spurs. The 6ft 6in stopper made a couple of confidence boosting early stops and then produced the save of the match with an excellent reflex save to prevent an own goal from Joel Veltman. Providing serious competition for Ryan
3. Ben White 7/10
A classy operator and easy to see why Leeds were so determined to sign the 22-year-old. Hasn't had it all is own way and at times found it difficult against the top PL strikers such as Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Marcus Rashford. Comfortable in midfield or defence and will get even better with the more top flight matches he plays. Great player in the making.
4. Lewis Dunk 5/10
Solid in the early matches as he was at the centre of a three man defence. Was sent-off at Palace for a reckless lunge as Brighton chased an equaliser and missed the last three matches. Available for the Villa match after the international break and Albion will need their skipper back to the form of last season.
