Here we take a look at their best players who arrived on a free transfer and went on to make telling contributions. We feature those signed since 2010.
13. Casper Ankergren
Joined from Leeds in 2010-11 and makes the bench as back up keeper. Made 68 appearances for Albion before retiring in 2017. Now a goalkeeping coach at Brighton
14. Andrew Crofts - bench
Arrived on a free from Gillingham in 2010 for the first of his three stints with the club. The ex-Wales international is now a player-coach for Brighton & Hove Albion under-23's.
15. Liam Bridcutt - bench
Arrived from Chelsea in 2010-11 and the defensive midfielder made 132 appearances before moving to Sunderland.
16. Tim Krul - back up keeper
Possible the best keeper never to really get a chance at Brighton. The Dutch international joined in 2017 and moved to Norwich in 2018. An excellent Premier League keeper. Makes the Brighton Free Transfer XI as the third back-up. A proud moment for Tim I'm sure.
