'I feel for Brighton' - BBC pundits deliver interesting Seagulls verdict following Wolves draw

With the game even at 3-3, Trossard thought he had given Graham Potter's side the lead but Andy Madley's whistle blew for a foul.

That prompted some interesting analysis from the BBC duo on Match of the Day.

“I feel for Brighton in this instance. I think he [Rayan Aït-Nouri] has got his header wrong,” Wright said.

"You look how far the referee is away from here [26 yards], and I’m thinking with the equipment we have got now, let that go a little bit further, see how it goes, and then have a check.

"He says he has given it for a push, but I don't think he has pushed him there."

Lineker explained: "His arm is on his shoulder a little bit," to which Wright replied, "At best."

"He [the referee] only has to wait a couple of seconds and then he has got VAR to help him, if you have got VAR you might as well use it."

"Andy Madley said he [Trossard] pushed him [Aït-Nouri] but I don't think he did," said Wright.

After the game, head coach Graham Potter weighed in on the decision.

"I said when I saw it live I thought it was a bit soft. But that might be my bias because you want it to go your way at that time," he said.

"I haven't seen it back but the general feeling was they could have played on.

"It looked like the boy slipped a little bit rather than being fouled. But I haven't seen it back so I am not sure."
