Crawley Down Gatwick juniors get their rewards thanks to parish council

Crawley Down Gatwick have praised Worth Parish Council for a grant which helped them reward their junior section player for the season's endeavours.

CDG have netted a grant from the parish council

The club said they were grateful to the council for the funding that helped them provide the usual end of season medals and trophies to their 21 junior sides.

A club statement said: "The income to support the medals and trophies would normally have been raised from the activities associated with the presentation evening that had to be cancelled because of the Covid-19 virus.

"The club have a very good relationship with the Parish Council which recognises the major contribution that the Club makes to the local community.
