Crawley, who were without a win since the end of February against Forest Green Rovers, had lost three consecutive games going into this afternoon's clash.

They were looking to put an end to their five-game winless run against promotion-hopefuls Swindon, who were just two points behind second-placed Northampton Town.

Crawley were hit by yet another injury blow early on with Jack Powell replaced by Isaac Hutchinson.

But it was Hutchinson who later made sure of the three points, with a goal in injury time to put the game beyond Swindon.

Kwesi Appiah had given Crawley the lead in the first half with a fine header. Tom Nichols restored the hosts' advantage after Josh Davison scored for Swindon.

He’s just pulled off a superb goal-line clearance to deny what looked a certain goal.

Nichols is in the right place, at the right time to head the ball into an unguarded net after Hutchinson’s strike hit the underside of the crossbar.

It came after a clever chested flick by Appiah after a good move involving sub Archie Davies.

(69) Great skill from Will Ferry to beat his man before playing in a brilliant cross but Tom Nichols can’t quite direct his header on target.

“It’s not time for a kip,” shout one of the Crawley fans after Williams stays down for a long time.

Play initially continued but it’s now stopped.

Williams is fine to carry on.

(63) Francillette does brilliantly to clear Davison’s goalbound effort off the line. Swindon look the most likely to get the next goal here.

Both Morris and Francomb flung themselves at the ball after a Swindon man was found in acres of space and it goes out for a corner.

(58 The Swindon players surround the referee after a heavy challenge by Ludwig Francillette on Williams. They want a red card but the Crawley defender gets away with a yellow card.
