Crawley Town appoint Esendagli as new chief scout

Head coach Dermot Drummy has today appointed Turgut Esendagli as the club's new chief scout.

Turgut holds a UEFA pro license coaching qualification and has worked with the Turkish national team, analysing and scouting opposition.

He has been based in London for 30 years and was manager of Essex Senior League club Waltham Forest, where he will be chairman.

Drummy said: “Turgut is well connected and has a wealth of experience in football, both in this country and through his work with the Turkish FA.

“We are spreading our net far and wide in terms of recruitment and Turgut will have a key role in terms of our talent development.”
