Drummy said: “I have only been with the club for a couple of weeks but the attitude of all the players has been first-class and I wish the five lads who have been released today all the best for the future and thank them for their efforts at the club.

“We have a further nine players who are out of contract, some of whom have already gone on holiday, so discussions are ongoing and announcements will be made soon.”

In addition, Jack Rose, Liam McAlinden, Charles Dunne, Frankie Sutherland and Josh Yorwerth have returned to their respective parent clubs at the end of their loan spells.

Drummy added: “Again, I’d like to thank all the lads who have been here on loan for their efforts. Some have played a big part for us this season and I wish them well for their respective futures.
