Panutche Camara, 20, agreed a two-year deal, with an option of an extra year, from Ryman League Premier Division outfit Dulwich Hamlet.

The forward made 15 appearances for Hamlet last season and was previously part of Championship side Barnsley's under-23 team.

Director of football Selim Gaygasuz feels the youngster is one for the future and said: "I’d like to welcome Panutche to the club. He’s a quick striker who can also operate on the right-hand side of midfield.

"We’ve been scouting him since January and believe he is a player with a lot of potential and someone who can only improve with the benefit of full-time training and coaching.

“Harry (Kewell; Crawley head coach) and Warren (Feeney; assistant manager) are looking forward to working with him. He is a player with undoubted potential and we’re really confident he can make an impact with us over the next couple of years and build a career here at Crawley Town.”

Camara follows both Dannie Bulman and Moussa Sanoh in agreeing deals with the Reds this summer.

The 20-year-old is hoping to capitalise on the chance he has been given.

He said: "This is a big opportunity for me and I can't wait for pre-season to start so I can work with the new manager and then hopefully have the chance to impress the Crawley supporters."
