Crawley draw Ipswich in the Capital One Cup

Crawley Town have been handed a home draw against Ipswich Town in the First Round of the Capital One Cup.

The draw was made this morning (Tuesday, June 17) and will see John Gregory’s Reds entertain Mick McCarthy’s Championship side at the Checkatrade.com Stadium the week commencing August 11.

Last season Crawley were knocked out of the competition at the first hurdle when they went down 4-3 after extra-time away at Cheltenham Town.

The new Football League season kicks off on Saturday, August 9 with the fixtures out tomorrow (Wednesday, June 18).

Crawley’s full league fixtures will appear on this website from 9am tomorrow morning.
